Arrived safely to blue skies April 6th! April 7th we did the Stations led by Deacon Justin and took on some refreshments. Later we went to the regional Mass and after dinner, to the torchlight procession with 70th Anniversary fireworks. Phew what a busy day!
April 8th… Renewal of baptismal vows at Sacre Coeur in the morning. We’ve watched this church get renovated over the past several years – now completed, its very bright and complete with “juggling” nun!
Afternoon at Hosanna House at Bartres near Lourdes
Thursday April 9th and it’s the 70th Anniversary Trust Mass in St Bernadette’s church in the Domaine in Lourdes. Everyone has dressed up suitably for the event!
Thursday 9th evening – its Fancy Dress time!
Friday 10th excursion to St Jean de Luz for sun, sand and lunch…
Others stayed in Lourdes to sample different cuisine!
11th April and a weather change! This did not disrupt our service of light and reconciliation. To which, we brought our prayers, intentions, and candles…
