Lourdes 2024 Pilgrimage
As we get into the final days of 2024, we reflect fondly on our pilgrimage and the challenge awaiting us in 2025 when we will travel once again under the leadership of Philip Ahern. We have a few fund-rasing events already lined up for early 2025 including: a jumble sale and Quiz night in January, musical bingo on 28 February and in March our training day nd culminating with another full-on Golf Day (28 March)!

Thanks to all our benefactors and hard fund raising we travelled on pilgrimage again in 2024 as a group of 33 people led by Philip Ahern. This year was a departure from the usual HCPT charter flights, which are now very expensive in comparison to commercial airlines, so we flew EasyJet to/from Bordeaux with an HCPT coach completing the journey.
Lourdes HCPT presence increased once more with many groups from all over the world. The Trust Mass returned to the underground basilica and was very busy and lively! Golf Day 2024
HCPT Group 149 10th Golf Day, Dinner and Auction March 22nd Verulam Golf Club St Albans.
We had an amazing Dinner and Auction and are hugely grateful to all who joined in the celebrations, to all who donated raffle and auction items – you are truly exceptional people. Your generosity is legendary with the Auction heading just past 10k and the Raffle 2k. Once all the final figures are available I will publish a full result, we head to Lourdes on April 1st and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during out time there at Easter – Philip Ahern
