Lourdes 2026 Pilgrimage
As we get into the final days of 2025, we reflect fondly on our 2025 pilgrimage and the challenge awaiting us in 2026 when we will travel once again under the leadership of Phil Ahern. It will be HCPT’s 70th Anniversary, so we’re anticipating a special occasion and we hope we can take a big pilgrimage group. It will also be a key anniversary for our group: 25 years since we started going to Lourdes on pilgrimages organised by HCPT.
Fundraising: We completed a jumble sale (Sept 27) and some carol singing sessions (Dec 21-22) which has started to raise funds for cafe trips and the like. Thank you to everyone who contributed in Sainsbury’s supermarket and at St Barts for our inaugural Christmas carols and readings service!
We have a few fund-raising events already lined up for early 2026 including: another jumble sale (Saturday Jan 10th) and Quiz night (Friday Jan 23rd), culminating with another full-on Golf Day (Friday 20 March)!
On February 8th we have our annual training day to get us ready for anything!
